Tofiq Nurmohammadi received the B.Sc. degree in Electronic Engineering in 2008. He received the M.Sc. degree in Nanoelectronics Engineering in 2012, and the Ph.D. degree in Electronics Engineering from the University of Tabriz in 2018, where his doctoral research focused on plasmonic waveguides in the near-infrared spectrum. He started his postdoctoral research in 2020, working on graphene-based plasmonic structures, and completed it in 2022. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Optics and Laser Engineering at Urmia University of Technology, Urmia, Iran. His current research interests include electronics, photonics, plasmonics, graphene-based optoelectronic devices, and integrated optical circuits.
