Aref Alipour was born in 1983, Urmia, Iran. He received BS degree in Mining engineering from Urmia University, Urmia, Iran, 2004, MS degree in Mining engineering from University of Tehran, Tehran, Iran, 2006, and PhD degree in Mining engineering from University of Tehran, Tehran, Iran, 2016. He currently works as an associated professor in the faculty of Mining engineering, Urmia University of Technology, Urmia, Iran. He has experience in research and teaching in the mining engineering discipline. In line with his teaching profile, his research focuses on open-pit mine planning and design, optimization techniques and rock mechanics. He has authored more than 30 peer-reviewed journal papers. he continues to advance innovation in mining systems. |
