In this study, the entanglement entropy of the ground state of single-layer graphene is investigated using the effective mass Hamiltonian model. This model incorporates intra-valley and inter-valley scattering interactions defined near the Dirac points. The results demonstrate that the entanglement entropy depends on the band parameter and scattering strength, with a uniform increase observed with the band parameter and a uniform decrease with increasing scattering strength. This study contributes to a better understanding of quantum entanglement in graphene and its potential applications in quantum information processing.
